Don't worry, your temps are perfect. Mine are never below 50C (room +27C) and that's fine. I'd only worrry if @load they hit 90C+.

That's fine, mine are slightly lower (38-43C) but I did a good job replacing the thermal paste (it was 50-60c) and now my max never goes over 65C.

so i called alienware yesterday about external monitor hook up problems and he tested my gpu setup with furmark and it went fine. though he could not figure out why when i connect to an external monitor why it would have problems. the problem that occurs seems to be like a refresh rate problem. 70% of the screen seems to vibrate and shake rapidly and would worsen at certain angles in games at certain resolutions ie 1080p, seems to work fine at 1200p but i have 2 monitors 1080 and 1200 and i like to use both depending on what im trying to do. any ideas?

i know you're not the only one with this problem so it's not an isolated issue.

I have a constant 27-28C in my apartment, so yeah it's pretty comparable to Kfar Saba, at least before the summer hits. :p

I had a similar problem happen on my R1 with nvidias. Haven't really had it happen with the ATIs.. With me it was the incorrect refresh rate being applied to the external monitor if the system came out of sleep mode and the internal one activated first or internal one was activated before the external. It would try to do my external monitor at 59 instead of 60 and there would be weird issues.. If I woke the computer up via keyboard with lid closed, so the external activated before opening the lid, all was fine...

If I cold booted with external on it worked fine. However if I hooked external up after internal was on or the internal activated and then I swapped to external same issue.

see i thought so cause it happened on both of my monitors at different resolutions. I just couldn't find any threads on it. I tried alot of different ideas such as ssetting a specified refresh rate on the monitor but the only options i ever see are 60,72,75 sometimes it shows blank. do you have an idea what the other threads might be titled? I really need this solved because I hook up to projectors and LFD's at school for presentations and have to submit to the lowest res available to make sure its stable and that makes it look like crap.

O think someone mentioned it in the official r2 thread. Try searching it for external monitor maybe (I am on my iPhone so it's kinda difficult now)
