I bought a m17x about 3 months ago with the single 512 9800M GT... A few months later I decided to upgrade it to SLI. I got everything installed after alot of drama with alienware not sending me the right parts and their drivers not working. I have the newest drivers from nvidia.com and when I run wow my graphics are super choppy and im running under 15 fps. I was running 35+ with my single 9800M GT. If I turn on force spliting and do a benchmark test my screen flickers. It doesnt do it in the alternate time split option. Could this be a sign that maybe the card I got from them is faulty? Is there a way to test this other then installing it in the master slot. And is there a special installation process of upgrading a single card to a SLI. The people I get on the phone from alienware dont know what their talking about and its frustrating. Why dont they let someone that actually builds the laptops talk to us on the phone when we are having trouble.
