    Hello all:

I just received my new M17x today. After removing the Nvidia drivers and installing the new beta graphics drivers, Windows is telling me that it's unable to locate the drivers for these devices and they show as yellow in Device Manager.

I think I removed the wrong nvidia drivers by mistake. Before I do more damage and start installing something I shouldnt, can anyone point me in the right direction here? The resource disk does not list drivers for these two specific options, however, I was able to find Nvidia drivers for both on the web and I've downloaded them. I've not installed them yet because I'm not 100% on whether these are the appropriate drivers for my machine as these are the ones Vista found for me.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks,

It's part of the chipset on the resource DVD.

Thanks a lot guys. I've installed the resource drivers for now and will update as Batboy suggested once I've figured out this next issue.

Now i'm unable to toggle from "Save Power" to "Boost Performance". I've tried FN F7 as well as selecting the "boost performance" option with the tray icon. Upon doing so, I hear the fans kick in, but then it reverts back to "Save Power" mode.

I was able to toggle back and forth prior to my graphics driver update.

    Any thoughts?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but as I have come to understand it, FN+F7 is the same as the NVIDIA Chevron icon in the task tray. Not sure why its reverting to Save Power (only 1 green chevron, not two).
