Guys, I am disappointed in my 512 raid ssd performance and wondering what others are getting? With HD Tune at 128kb I avg around 190, but I see many other post and there raid ssd are hitting double that? I have tried various nforce drivers and all are about same.

I am beginning to think nforce sucks for raid? Any input would be great!

How is the boot performance? Program loading? I would look more at the real time performance than benchmarks but that's just me.

It was an improvement, but worth 1400.00? For that kind of money I want the same benchmarks that others are seeing lol.

True but was just wanting to compare with other M17X systems that have raid 0 setups. I know there are not many, If two are no faster than 1 I will just add the second one to my M15X.

    Darkhan,
I have the same RAID 0 set up as you. My HD Tune results are:
    min 150.2
    max 256.0
    ave 204.6
My drive has 23% capacity used.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Vtrick, Mine has 26% used and yes my results are very close to yours. I see many posting there scores in the mid 400's I was just wondering if I had something wrong? Thanks for your help.

Should be around 325MB/sec.... I had the same issue but HD Tune should be set to 8MB file, change it on your settings...

That's worse than my single Intel SSD.

I'm getting 194MB/s write and 258MB/s read on my single Vertex with 39% full. Are your numbers correct?

Is the Patriot Torqx SSD the one that you get when you order your computer from Alienware?

No I bought the Torqx direct from Patriot. They have the new firmware also. I am going to try a single 256 drive and compare results.
