    So the audio stuttering is still an issue even in Vista. I'm thinking about going to XP. Anyone done this already? Are there even drivers available? I realize I'll "lose" things like hybrid graphics. But if it means no audio stuttering and faster gaming, I'm fine with it.

    I gotta say i havent noticed any stuttering..

    yeah go ahead and put one up if you could. Perhaps BatBoy could add it to his blog along with his "Win7 64 drivers/Vista 64 drivers". I don't have MSN/yahoo... I do have AIM and ICQ...

    You're using XP 32-bit right?

    dude hook us up with a guide lol. :p I am SO sick of this ..... I wouldn't care about hybrid grahics, just want my gamming to work for once and my Audio!

    Sad bought a 3800 doller laptop and i am still using my 1,000 doller Desktop quad ON Windows 7 with NO issues with any of the above..

    alright ill do it tomorrow during the day guys, for me.. I didn't notice any stuttering, but I can't promise anything :D

    @ LordZath I'm triple booting with windows 7, xp 32 and windows server 2003 r2 32bits(which OWNS, it even recongnises the full 4gb of ram :D)

    yeah I figured I'd double-boot Vista and XP, like I had it setup on my old 1730. While I found myself always booting into Vista anyways, it was nice to have XP available :)

    By installing Windows XP, the 'Quad Stutter' has been eliminated?

    well, i haven't really noticed any. I sometimes hear "pops" but yeah, so far I haven't experienced any stuttering but I didn't game much on xp yet on this laptop..

    Lately i've mostly been experiencing with xp just getting the right drivers and getting it stable and everything, I finnished today so my "guide" should be up in a couple of minutes, im gonna start it now

    nice i will diffently probaly do it. Right now i am fighting a hardware issue on my laptop of some sort almost all my games crash or do not launch its a mess. I swear i have done more trouble shooting then Dell, and they do know i know about computers. (Which is good no BS i hope) lol I am getting a email back tommarow. Until then i have to wait. :(
