Hi there folks; got a shiny new Nebula Red M17x a few weeks ago, cleaned it out and put a fresh clean install of Windows 7 on it. Mostly things are working fine, although I seem to have broken the camera/face-recognition, and for the life of me I can't remember where the software to set the keyboard lights lives. That's not really what I need to sort though - work has mandated BitLocker on the machine, but to encrypt the system drive it wants a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) or else I'd need a USB key every time I start (not ideal).

Thing is, I'm not actually sure whether or not the M17x has a TPM. I found a driver, for the m17x, but now I check again that's an Area 51 machine, and is distinct from the M17x.

So I'm guessing I'm out of luck, and there isn't a TPM built into the M17x? Anyone know if there's any other options for TPMs that I could get into the machine, or am I consigned to using a USB key to start...?
