    any ideas?
I get one that 'not responds' the game. have to CNTRL+ALT+DEL to close it.
it occurs just after the loading screen, and possibly the first frame into the game.

Check the Event Log. See what (if any) errors are reported.

Reinstall the game and your display driver. Which display driver version?

Does it have a patch for W7? Doesn't look like a driver issue to me.

    as in it stopped fanning.
i think that issue is unrelated. I got it replaced, and it was happening before just cause 2.
I just looked in the steam at the just cause 2 folder, there are two error files, but in a weird file type, mdmp or something..
I'd rather not redownload... is that the only thing left to try though?
im probably going to buy this game.

If that's the only game with such issues - reload it. Also keep in mind it's a demo.
