I just ordered a new M17x and was wondering if anyone has Windows XP installed on theirs. Some of my older games run alot better in XP than they do on Vista. My gaming Desktop has both windows xp and Vista Ultimate in dual boot config.

Basically are there xp drivers for most of the M17x devices?

    thanks.

XP is outdated, but to answer your question i do believe one here has tried to do xp but can't get any drivers to work, that said vista is not as bad as people say anymore besides win 7 is just around the corner and you can already use the RC win 7 client. Win 7 is better than xp, 2 times better than vista. win 7 is what vista should have been to begin with.

    Hi,
Believe it or not, the M17X is compatible with XP according to my documentation. Unfortunately, drives have not been provided. The most crucial driver is the SATA driver, which isnt even provided for launch versions of Vista.
