    Hi,

For some reason, the skip, play/pause doesn't work with many programs like winamp etc?

Is this normal? I have a strange feeling that it is and a major pain in the butt.

If so what else can they control apart from powerdvd? Anyway to have them work with other programs?

    Thanks

I haven't received my M17x yet so I don't know :D But when I was using VLC on Mac, the function buttons work but it affect on the QuickTime as well. For example: I hit the Play/Pause button to pause the movie on VLC but it makes iTunes start playing. It kinda annoying :D

So we have media buttons that work only in programs like powerdvd? Can anyone confirm that?

Okay. The software used needs to have global media keys support. Exemple, once that is clicked in Winamp preferences, the media buttons on the media bar works with Winamp.

Can't believe that only SillyHoney tried to help  ...and he doesn't even have his M17x yet.

    Hope this helps others.

Unfortunately no, the media controls do not support winamp. But it does supports windows media player and windows media center. Maybe in a future update it will.
