When I close my m17x it goes itno sleep mode, all the lights turn off and everything is okay. Then, when I open it the lights come back on but the screen stays black. It seems unresponsive cuz caps lock and other keys dont work. I looked on my laptop and it says that my GTX 260 SLI's are interfering with my laptops sleep mode. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi Ryuzaki,
The M17X not coming out of sleep successfully is a known issue. I would recommend using stealth mode and setting your lid close action to "do nothing."

    Thanks,
    Gabe

    Hi ryuzaki,
You can either go to the advanced section of you power options, or you can use Fusion to select the lid close action. Fusion may be simpler to see.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

Ok... this issue was resolved with the release of 186.82 and higher display drivers. With 186.82 you should not see this issue. I have zero problems resuming from stand-by (aka 'Sleep') or hibernation.

I highly suggest updating your nvidia display driver. You can grab 186.82 from LV2Go HERE.

Download the driver only. You do not need the MODDED INF.

NOTE: You will need to run the executable to extract it. Once the driver is extracted, look inside the directory for the 'Additional INFs' .zip archive. Extract this and copy/paste the 'nv_whql.inf' into the top level of the 186.82 directory. Once this is done, run the setup.exe app to install. This is required for the driver to recognize the hardware in the M17x. The default INF (nvfu.inf) does not support the M17x GPUs.
