Anyone else notice this? When I play Crysis or Resident Evil 5 for 1 hour+ the keyboard starts to get hot. Sometimes I hear the fan after that period of time from inside. It doesn't happen on every game, but then again I play maxed out..
Then I'll close the game and 5 minutes later it's cool again.

Any good ways to cool this during gaming? Sometimes it gets annoying pressing the keys because of how warm it can be.

My GPU core temp is at 42 celsius usually and during intense gaming it only goes up to 53 or something around there.

Not sure what you call "getting hot" do you think its hotter than those temps?

Nope, def. like that. Usually the WSAD keys get hot mostly. That area but I think I know why. I just want a way to cool it.

Monitor you GPU temps with CPUID HWMonitor and you will see how they max around 80c in Crysis and Dragon Age. The keyboard is getting hot when the GPU temps are steady around 70c. If you play less demanding games, it's possible to see 55c at max but then you won't feel it on your keyboard.
Anyway, other than lowering the ambient temps and adding a cooler-pad there's not much to do. Those temps aren't critical though.
