So I've been playing a lot of Street Fighter 4 on PC and let's start out by saying that it runs like a charm, it's actually a demanding game on the GPUs. But it runs smooth and I love it.![]()
Anyway, I've been reading on other forums from people who use the keyboard to play and they've said that it's no problem. But I honestly believe it's not possible from what I've experienced so far on the M17x keyboard. I've been trying to do the simplest of combos and it just wont work. I must be pressing 10-12 keys at the same time in 1 sec. Been working and working and somethings not right...
Has anyone seen keyboard responsiveness issues in game?
There is no way that a gaming laptop would lack in that department is all I could assume.
I suppose it's time to get an actual controller. But I thought I'd bring the topic up.

Grab that controller i told ya to get when you were showing the benchmarks. Mad Catz wireless for PS3 but works awesome on the PC and its driver less etc so just plug and play . Very reminiscent of the saturn pad.

Yeah I've been looking at some Sega Saturn USB controllers on EBAY. The saturn controller is the best.
I just cant do consecutive moves or combos with the keyboard so that why I brought it up. Not sure why that would be the case.
Also, Quad.. do you have that controller? Does the wireless lag? -
I don't understand, why do you need to push 10-12 keys at a time anyway? I used to religously play fighting games with a keyboard (via emulator for arcade ones) and I've never had such a problem. Besides doesn't pushing that many keys at once not work? (can cause PC to beep)
I'm a SF2/SF3 player but have not tried SF4 yet which is one of the many games I am looking to buy when my m17x arrives, but I still cannot see why you need to push that many keys. Even a Zangief grappling move will only take 5 keys in quick succession (360->P/K)
