I want to return/exchange my system and get the RGB led and blu-ray but im a few days past the 21 day return policy, is there anything i can do? should i even bother trying to ask for one? Or should i stop being a baby and deal.

Plus the lcd i got has a hair or fracture in it that if i was comparing it to their 6 pixel replacement policy would be like 10 pixels- in a line

A few days past should be alright, I've heard of a few people here doing it a few days past their 21 days. Don't stop being a baby, the RGB LED is a must have.

Definitely call them and make your stand. You might be able to swing their minds and score a new system. You can always tell that you were on a vacation or some business trip for 2-3 weeks and didn't have a chance to see the system and check its performance. ;)
Be persuasive and persistent. Prepare yourself for long hours of phone calls and enlarged phone bills :)
    Good Luck!

Sweet, I received it like FEB 25 so its the 23rd or 24th day. I really Want the RGB since its 50$ cheaper and the blu-ray drive is an option. The person who took my order on the phone failed to mention other Drive options. Nor was it on the build page when i ordered early Feb. I'm pretty pumped not gonna give em a call tomorrow.

Also i was jUST reading the policy and was wondering if you guys know anything about the return shipping or stocking fees?

Also is there specific number or extension i should call? I just read something about team blackhawk and was wondering what they are all about.

Also do they like send you a new one first or what, cause i kinda need it for school presentations.

Well if they allow you to return it under the circumstance of the 21 day policy (even though its a few days past) there will be no restocking fee.

You're going to have to present a really good case to them to circumvent the 21 day policy. I can tell you from experience that they will not do it unless you can provide some hard evidence that shows they screwed up. It's possible so definitely give it a shot and if all else fails, then your second option would be to sell the system and repurchase it with an RGB LED.

What's your advice on selling a system Joker, I have the M15x I'd like to sell, but I have never sold privately.... not sure about doing it over eBay.... seems you have to cut the price so much it's almost not worth it.

Have you any experience with passing a system back to Dell to sell as a refurb? I imagine you get raped there too....

I would call them. Since I'm in Iraq they made an exception for me. I just told them it didn't meet my needs. They didn't put up any sort of fight. Not sure if it will go the same for you, but it never hurts to ask right?

Your 21 days start when they shipped the system not from when you receive it.

Also, if you purchased using a Dell Prefered Account you actually get 30 days to return.
