    Hi all, new member here!

Just got my M17x Friday... couple small complaints. I'm playing World of Warcraft and my sound crackles occasionally. Anyone have a similar issue? I'm using the nice alienware headphones I got with my computer. I know I should try the old usb headphones to see if they crackle to.. but now I'm a snob :)

also, I use the WASD keys a lot.. anyone else find them squeeky?

    Thanks!

High DPC latency can affect sound in games/audio normal playback but i don't think it's the problem here... DPC latency in M17x is high to audio produce but not that high to give you problems in games lol.

I haven't had any performance issues. everything runs fine, I just have weird sound effects, almost like the sound of fireworks.

DPC latency don't affects performance but your problem don't look like a DPC latency problems either :p .

    [offtopic]
Kcissem you still running W7 in your M17x? if yes you can run DPC latency checker? ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=398713).

    Yea.. I have had worse..

I am going to format and reinstall the OS so I am hoping that it will go away.. Seems like a software issue...
