    Hi everyone,

I haven't done anything weird with my computer...or anything of real significance at all, for that matter. But, my computer is only listing "Nvidia GeForce 9400" (not even 9400M) under "Display adapters" in Device Manager. The Nvidia utility is also not showing up in the bottom right of the screen.

Any advice for how I can fix this? It's a really weird error. Also, I can't just do Fn+F7 because there isn't a graphics card to switch to, according to the computerl nothing happens. I promise I really do have those video cards, and they've been working fine up until now. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Timbydude,
Only the current active card will show under display adapters. Either stealth mode is enabled, or you need to press FN+7. You should get prompted for a restart.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

You need to enable hybrid graphics in the bios, for Windows to detect your 2x 260M's, restart your computer, keep pressing F2 when you see the alien head, go to graphics options and enable hybrid.

I had the same problem when I first recieved my Allpowerfull to the point that hitting the FN-F7 would result in a gray screen upon reboot forcing me to hard boot and go back through the setup and disable the hybrid mode and set it to use the 9400 before I'd get my screen back.

I was able to fix it by downloading the latest video drives from the Alienware website, re-enabling hybrid mode in the bios and then using FN-F7 and rebooting again to get it to use my dual 260's.
