    M17x, Rivatuner, 4870X2, no valid I2C

    I am interested to see the effect of undervolting my 4870X2, but I don;t want to flash if I don't have to.

    Temperatures are not too bad, 66C with Furmark but I also like to get them as low as possible.

    I downloaded Rivatuner 2.24 and I spent the night trying to get it to read the I2C bus settings with no luck. All 4 show up as invalid.

    Anything I'm missing?

    I tried it with stick Dell drivers and 9.12 modded Catalyst.

    I can make the bios and test it myself then email it to you

    it would be 4 files

    Atiflash
    gpu bios. With changes
    origional bios
    a batch file to do the commands for you

    Can you make Bios where you reduce the voltages to 1.0V, 0.95V and 0.9 V? Not sure I'd try the last one, but for completeness sake. Everything else should be stock.

    I followed a guide on notebookforums.com. Worked fine except I got different checksums between the original and modified bioses so I stopped there and didn;t flash.
