I have been using this R-1 for about 3 months now, and over the past week I have had issues and lag in games from my two cores being at 93% or higher usage. I have the highest FPS and Perfect latency. But the computer is also putting out a little more heat and is making a louder noise than it usually does. I tried HW monitor and the temp is only going up about 10 degrees C* (approx 50C*). Any suggestions?

could be crap thermal paste. It may be a good idea to change it to Actic Silver 5.

I believe it is the Thermal paste. I cleaned out the fans thoroughly and It's stil up in the 95 percentile with a 48 C* on Hwmonitor. I am not savvy enough to get to the motherboard without messing something up let alone change the thermal paste either.

The CPU usage is the bigger problem. you need to find out what is causing that. Video Driver, Command Center, Anti-Virus, etc..

48-50c is not bad for a mobile CPU or GPU. What you need to do, like stated above, is find out what is causing the extra load.
