    Best to have 2 cards when trying this IMHO. If you kill one card temporarily you can yank the other card out and get the picture back using the slave card and at that point try to reflash the card . Otherwise with a single card you might be forced to try and do a blind flash which can be a bit of a mess.

    You should be able to do it with GPU-Z.

    Hmm then ask Anothergeek to help you since he is more experienced dumping the BIOS on the 280s. I figured it would be as easy as using GPU-Z but there may be another method .

    I highly doubt this will work. If nvidia was still not laser cutting their chips everyone would buy a GTX260 and flash to the GTX285 which cost twice as much. (I am talking desktop cards for those who are wondering what a GTX285 is)

    I am not sure that using the BIOS for a different MXM revision is a good idea, the GPU is the same but the rest of the board (also controlled by BIOS) isn't.
