Will it have an optical drive? An all steel and concrete body?

I will really be upset with Dell if they make it with finicky plastic like the M17xR3.

I believe they are going to make the whole chassis out of carbon fibre to cut weight down from 6 tonnes to only 3 tonnes to help out with portability. Rumours also indicate that Dell are offering a good "lease deal" on fork lift trucks as an "add on accessory" if you so desire to configure with one - this fork lift can be ordered in Stealth Black, Cosmic Silver or Nebula Red to match your system.

As an avid bencher, I hope it has a more powerful psu. I don't think 240w is going to cut it...

I think it has an option to be powered directly by the national electrity grid......or can be connected to a petrol generator :D - depending on location, there is also rumour of "solar power" being used in the back of the lid....fortunate if you live in Florida or Sydney,Australia...not so fortunate if you live in Great Britain......

Can't be an M18x as an 18.4" screen has to be 16:9 and that screen is too square to be using that aspect ratio. Really if they can get all that wasted bezel space to the left of the right of the screen, and still not fit a numpad it obviously has to be a picture of a 4:3 or 5:4 notebook.

I really like the setup of the arrow keys. It doesn't interfere with the r-ctrl this way.
