M5500 766 Driver help...

Hey all, I've been reading around the site for a few days now...I recently purchased this laptop through ebay, and at the bottom of this post I will link the auction so you can see what I have. I've found a few useful things however I cannot find all the right drivers for this laptop. Specifically the video card drivers, display adapter, and the wifi card. Now, The internet wifi card is acting strange. It see's the network but wont connect. I've tried both letting windows control it and then the Intel Pro software. Neither allows it to connect to the network. My other laptop (dell) sitting right next to it connects fine. Excellent connection. Now, the alienware laptop can connect to my cellphone for internet but Id prefer not use my phone.

From what I have found out these are the drivers needed...
Intel Pro 2200 B/G wireless card
NVIDIA 6600 or 5600?
Slimtype combo drive CDRW/DVD

I been going crazy trying to get this working! Also, the keyboard on this has the capabilites to illuminate, and I downloaded AlienFX but I cannot get it working until I get the right drivers for the rest of the system... Optical drives usually dont come with "drivers' there is sometimes firmware. If yours doesnt work, then perhaps you should try to install XP again as it may be a corrupted installation, or try removing it, then reattaching, and If it still wont work after Windows updates, ad reinserting, and XP SP3 install, then it is probably dead and needs replacement. It is a IDE slim 12.7mm optical (tray load I think?)

What makes you think the m5500 had an iluminating keyboard? has it been modified? Im pretty sure the m5500 didnt have one that illuminated. I dont think they were options offered on Alienware notebooks until the m15x. Your system was built in 2005, its about 4 years old.
