I need some help please. I recently purchased a Alienware M5500 which the previous owner changed the case to a brand new case. When he was done it would not power on-only the lights-no fan nothing. I bought it and pressed the power button like 35-100 times and it powered on!

What could this be? Each time you press the power button different lights series happen until voila - it powers on!!

What could this be- it has the on board video card (no extended). I am thinking power cable on the button - but that is just a guess.

Any help, opinion or guesses would be so welcomed!

    Thanks
