What the hell does that "fan" looking button next to the mail button do? is it some sort of battery saver or something? because when i turn it on during a game or anything it lags like a mofo lol and when i click it to turn it off its smooth heaven lol wtf?

    From Chaz's review:
    Or from this website:
So it seems that the fan button is a battery saver (but not a very good one).

Again, please note... there is a 9 cell battery from Alienware that they offer at a ridiculously low price if you call them... $67.20. Online at their site is $90.00 which is similar to other 9 cell battery prices. The over the phone price is hard to beat... especially with the 10% discount they offer sometimes. ;)

Just letting you know that I did that a few months ago for a spare as the first one I got for free, thank you VERY much! :D

Thanks for the battery tip. I'm thinking of getting a 9 cell. How much battery time do you get with a 9-cell, Audiose?

Thanks, that's very nice. I can only get about 1:40 with the six-cell battery. My next upgrade is definitely going to be the battery.
