    hi bros

    I am using M7700. I have a stupid question.

I need to use projector to show my PowperPoint and I don't see the normal port like others laptops I had before to connect with my laptop.

COuld you tell me how to do that? which cable I need to buy?

    Thank you so much

I can only go by what I see around, but it looks like the M7700 has an S-Video, RCA and DVI-I output on the system. with a simple adapter, you can push the format to anything from the RCA (Red, White, Yellow) connector, to S-video (small, round black cable, similar to a mouse/keyboard connector (PS/2)), VGA, DVI, or HDMI connection. your pick.

the big question here is, what does your projector have for inputs? then find a cable to connect the output to the input, and configure the graphics drivers to output to the other device.

shouldn't be too difficult to determine, just compare what ports are on the left side/back of your system with what's on the projector... just don't try to match up the 9-pin serial connection. :p there's no video on that connector.

    good luck.

don't forget the VGA to VGA cable that will connect the system to the projector.

your projector should've come with one, but I'm just making sure.

    good luck with the presentation!

If I'm not mistaken, the M7700 has both a VGA and a DVI port.

The projector I use has a VGA port.

    take a look here,

the M7700 has the yellow RCA, a black s-video, DVI-I (which you can use an adapter to convert to VGA), purple parallel and teal serial ports on the back.

a simple DVI-I to VGA converter will do the job.
