    Hello Everyone,

    What is the latest BIOS version for this model?
    What is the latest KBC/EC Version(Keyboard Firmware)?


    My System shows at post when I boot, press "esc" to so detailed post, press pause/break to read it

    BIOS: 1.00.07a
    KBC/EC: 1.00.3GP


    Reason I ask is, My keyboard is not working, I got a "Barebones" notebook, and Alienware will not help me with the file or even the version number because I did not buy it from them.

    KBC/EC: D900K H8 05

    did you flash the KBC firmware that I uploaded for you?

    Decided to double check the zif connector first. The ribbon cable was pushed so far in, it was past the contacts. Thank you for your help

    Did you manage to get the keyboard working monnie?

    Gophn, what is KBC/EC?
    I have version 1.00.03GP,
    should I upgrade to the latest one?

    My bios revision is 1.00.09 the latest revision.

    KBC ... keyboard firmware fixes/adds features to the keyboard.
    - it originally added the Fn+F2 Fan Toggle
    - it can fix a few issues with Fn keys not working right, etc..
