My ? key on my laptop keyboard pops up after the lid has been closed, I can push the top down and it will stay on but if I use it repeatidly it pops up again and I have to push it back down. It does not come completely off of the board the bottom stays connected to the board but it has become a bother and thought you guys might have some advice.

well superglue is the obvious answer to alot of problems, but this is not a place were I would like to skimp. I am sure I am not re attaching it properly. If not I will just have to replace the keyboard.

probably not but you will have to pay a small fee for it. You should try gluing it though (I take no responsibility) just take some non-plastic melting glue and and stick it on.

it should pop into place and stay there. Each key can come off the keyboard so i would pull it off completly and see if there is something broken. It often takes a good bit of force to push the keys in but if you cant get it in, dont risk breaking the keyboard. Check to see if there are any cracks or things that seem broken. If not, then its most likely you arent putting part of the key into the right spot. I suspect that the little part that the laptop clicks into aside from the metal bar that holds it in is broken which happens often. AW should send u a new keyboard but u will have to pay for it. AW warrentys are non-transferable.

That is a typical Clevo D900 keyboard.

You can get that keyboard from any Clevo vendor.

    Read the Clevo Guide.
