    hi bros.
it seems that i am going back time. but i just have this M7700 in short time.

i tried to ask and now can handle almost well.

But the WEBCAM is the most pain I have now.
When I chat video with my friend through Skype, webcam works but it works not well. The video usually get suspension and color square.

I don't know how to improve the quality of this webcam. It is 1.3mp that is good enough normally, but in this case, this is my pain.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE another external webcam like LOgitech Pro 9000 in order to get better webcam function?

Or there are some tips that bros can show me to change the quality of built in webcam.

    THanks so much first.

most notebook webcams will need to have the person in a well-lit environment.

I havent used mine in a long time, but it still works good, if the room I'm in has good lighting.

When I use my webcam, I go into the options and set it to 1024 x 800 with the Y2 encoder. These may not be the exact names. Its the second one down in the pull down.

If you need more specifics I can get my D900K out of retirement and show you my webcam settings.

    thanks bro.

could you help me to check that.

i could not find out anything to change the properties for the camera in my laptop. It means that I don't have any setting option for my webcam.

DO i need to use a third party webcam software here?

    thank you again

I doubt the problems you are experiencing have anything to do with your webcam. 1.3Mp is more than enough for Skype to work very well.

I suspect your problems lie either with your internet connection or with Skype.
Skype is the more likely cause.

I suggest you sift through the Skype forums for a solution. Sometimes installing an earlier version of Skype will solve the problems you mention.

I had the same symptoms and using an earlier version worked for me.

i tried to install new Skype, but now i got new issue.
because I just install Avermedia TV Turner card M102-B.
Now I can not see video in both Skype and Yahoo messenger.

but i still see video it self in USB 2.0 PC CAM in my computer.

I don't know what happened, but the Avermedia card was installed well with all drivers.

Could you tell me how can I have video now in Skype and Yahoo?

Is that the conflict of something?
