This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi guys, ive just brought an Alienware M9700 laptop from ebay which is in very good nick, everything works find on it accept the Lan Port :( I dont know wheather this a hardware issue or a software issue, But my friend has given me Knopix 5.1 to see if its a software problem.

    Ooo i forgot to mention its got vista basic on it which is 32-bit....Not really a big vista fan so i might do a re-install to XP.

    Any links to drivers would be appecirated and any advice given would be a plus too :)
