Ok so I thought I was super hardware guy ( LOL ) until my laptop gave me a run for my money... After seeing some performance issues ( especially in Aion ) I decided to benchmark the box yesterday with MemTest 2.0+ ( Came with CloneZilla ) ..... After taking down some results I'm confused as to some of the findings.. Maybe some of you uber hardware guys out there can decypher it for me. For testing purposes I put 1 2GB stick in each slot and then ran MemTest for 1 pass ... lastly I put back both 2GB sticks in the slots and ran that ... below are the results....
==================================================
Memory - Kingston KVR667D2S5/2GStick 1 - Dimm Slot 1 | Stick 1 - Dimm Slot 2

FSB - 166 | FSB - 166
Type - DDR-I | Type - DDR-II
RAM - 332MHz (DDR-665) | RAM - 332Mhz (DDR-665)
CAS - 3-2-2-0 | CAS - 5-5-5-15
Single Channel (64 Bits) | Single Channel ( 64 Bits)

As you can see things are pretty much the same except when the RAM is in DIMM2, then the Type is changed to DDR-II and the CAS settings are more... I'm just courious as to see if anyone else has the same type of benchmarking or if I should go out and purchase some better RAM? .... Sorry for the long post...
