So for those of you that own this puppy, what drivers do you find the best working so far? It burns the #$**#@ out of me that Alienware will not update any drivers other then the 179.13 (beta) that I'm currently using .. even though there's ppl out there like myself who bought this laptop only 1.5yrs ago .. You'd think they'd update the drivers for us.. So what do you find that is working best for you? I have 2 so I'm using them in SLI mode.... Also if you could give a link to the drivers so I can test them that would be great.... Thanks...

You know you can get drivers directly from nvidia now. I can't say if they will work well for your model though - I know that the m17x needs special drivers from dell.

But 179.48 is available for download.

Do you have the 8700's or the 7950GTX cards? For the 7950GTX, I've settled on 179.28 as good performers. I don't have any recommendations for the 8700 cards.

Tks for the reply .. sorry about that.. I have the 7950GTX's in the box..... I've tried the 179.48 releases just a bit ago from Nvidia with no luck .. as a matter of fact, the performance dropped for what ever reason.. I'll give the 179.28 a shot though..
