    if i get the 900p screen option can i still project 1080p through the display port?

    Absolutely. Discreet and integrated cards will run just about any display you hook them up to. I think there is a max resolution most cards support however it is much higher than 1080p wich is 1920x1080 so you will be fine.

    oh thank god i was just speaking with the online dell representative and they were like u can only get 900p i was like can u explain why i cant get 1080p with a video card that supports it i mean if it says 900p for the screen then why would my tv be limited to 900p when i display out

    Yeah. I have dealt with a lot of those reps. The majority of them dont know what the H*** they are talking about :D Most of the time I end up explaining things to them :confused:
