I have had this computer for a week now and it is the best piece of Computing power that i have ever used. Its runs FLAWLESSLY!!!!
Before this system i had the dell m1730(3 of them) that all ran like crap and played my games at less then half specs with some gliching. NOW i play all my games at FULL specs and Past FULL HD resolution 1920×1200. Also the system doesnt even get hot AT ALL. TO all the other m17x parents you should be prowd of you kid haha.
Alienware has built the best laptop in my opinion to date.

I give your review a 5.6/10.
-
now that you have a good comp you should invest in a decent camera
-
So you really like it? Im still trying to decide the Dual core vs. Quad core thing.. So lost a single 260 i will get if i get the QX9300 or dual SLI if i get dual core. Enjoy the laptop i am jelous!
-
That is actually my I-Phone camera. If i did have a better one i would have used it. Comments like that really show your IQ so its better off left unsaid.
Thanks. -
lol - I've noticed quite a bit of that (smart azz remarks which are pointless really) in the Alienware area since moving over here from the Dell areas of NBR... Didn't expect it. Oh well - every forum has em', no worries.
-
Thanks a lot man.
God Bless! -
Haha ya its all good. People just don't know how to keep to themselves.

Probound, your enthusiastic review is refreshing, thanks. It was reassuring to read a genuine thumbs up post from a 100% satisfied M17X owner. I'm not complaining about the other posts where M17X problems are analyzed and discussed (all extremely helpful)... But it was nice to read a simple and straightforward positive post, cheers!

Without a doubt, my m17x is the finest laptop I ever owned! Not only does it kick for gaming and 3D art (my other hobby), it looks bloody awesome!
(the m17x power brick, on the other hand, is not impressing me very much right now lol) -
Well man compared to that 1730 brick its perfect it size haha.
I appreciate all of the feedback everyone.
Thanks -

You should have seen the power brick for my mALX lappy, it was heavier than my Dell XPS M1210 laptop,
-
How does the BLU-ray look on your 17x?
-
blu ray looks great with 1200p screen! Very sharp and good color rendition! I would recommend the option!
-
congrats on the beast!
p.s. - almost 1000 posts woot woot!
time to go troll!
-
Thanks a bunch!
Haha. I have a while to go. -

LOL the size of the brick is not the problem....its that it did not last very long before dying. And making matters worse, I am in a very remote base inside Iraq, it takes an extra week or 2 longer for stuff to get here than it ordinarily takes to get to Iraq....my All Powerful is going to be powerless for a while
