    Max CPU temp

    Whats the max temp a P8400 I just did some OC to the P8400 to 2.4Ghz and the temps are at 34-37c is this normal whats the max temp this cpu can go to.

    Actually, from the spec sheet it says 105C, but by then you'll be frying the things next to the CPU.

    With the Orthos stress test, I got it to 70C, and mine's overclocked 330Mhz. Are your posted temps under load, or idle? Because mine idles at 44C.

    But when I OC and restart the machine the speed goes back to 2.26 using SetFSB

    Sorry, Mike, I don't know how to get the settings to stick. I don't see anything about applying them on boot-up. I can't really get much from SetFSB, because my RAM is garbage. I've OC'd the CPU to 3.53Ghz, but I BSOD soon afterward.
