I have a problem with my order. Yesterday I was talking to the dell rep as i was planning to buy m17x. he told me that my card is not working because it is international. (What i got in an email from dell) The problem is, when he told me this I decided to cancel order for now. He didnt cancel the order from whatever reason. I am happy that i decided not to place an order (or to cancel it) cuz I found better dal around the same price. He also didnt tell me that this laptop was 900p. What is more, both my cards international and US where charged. The card that wasnt supposed to work was charged with 1650 dollars after I decided not to place an order . Online system shows that my order is processing (i guess it is credit card) and i got email is on hold. I wrote them few emails but no one answerd me so far. What should i do? I want to cancel the order and get my money back as soon as possible since the order is not shipped yet. It is not even confirmed. I dont have to worry about production since it is dell outlet.

    Thank you,
    Lukasz

Was your orders both dell outlet?

A charge of X amount of money will be held on your account as soon as your order is placed, money technically does not leave your account until the item has been dispatched.

I was planning to order one m17x. I called sales rep and she was very helpful, she said that they have identical build i eant in outlet store and she connected me to dell outlet rep. Since the price was 50 dollars moree that i have saved on my international card (i didnt know i cant use it;() i decided to put it on two CC. 1650 on international and 100 on us CC. 1st problem: he didnt tell me the laptop from outlet was 900p and I was looking for full hd. Second problem: he said my card is not working since it is international (1650$) so i told him to cancel the order. He said he is going to do this and hang up. After some time ii got an email that my order is being processed. I chcec my both bank account and full amount of money was taken from them. What is more, even thought money was taken i got email that my order is on hold because they cant process my CC. i just want to get my money back since i told the rep to cancel the order (or more accurate not to place it in the first place)! I told him that I will move the money from international bank to us bank and think about this deal more.

I am really stressed and worried about my money....

I apologize for poor language and wrong spelling but i am writing on mobile device and the auto correct is killing me!

Try calling the credit card issuing company and let them know of the error. They can also confirm if it was an actual charge or simply a "pre-authorization" and stop or reverse the charges.
