ok first off good thing you remembered the keyboard well well worth the $50. Yes you can get a discount once you receive your order just call them and tell them you want to order it thats it you don't have to ask for any kind of special price.
EDIT: congrats on your order!

Nice system! For notebook RAM, I'd recommend Corsair or Crucial.

Which Alienware rep did you have to give a bj to to get that free? J/K
Seriously, though, how'd you get a X900 upgrade for free?Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
so a t9300 isnt overclockable, and with montevina coming out with ddr3, dang, well i hope it wont be in the m15x too soon or buyers remorse will set in deeply lmao
-
PS X9000 is freakin sweet! O yeah and I also got an upgrade to a lightscribe drive cause mine orignal dvd drive wasn't burning @ 8x but my new one does. -
-
i think i should have got the x9000, the t9300 cant oc at all i think, whata shame
-

The x9000 can't overclock well in the m15x at all. You made the right choice. BTW, you can still change your order before it goes into production, you'll just have to start the phases over.
-
for ram i never knew they had pc 6400 for laptops, will this work in my m15x? its 800mhz instead of 667 standard

The mobo in the m15x will downclock it to 667MHz since that's the highest it'll support, you're just wasting money getting faster RAM. 667MHz RAM will be supported much better by the m15x.
-
that sucks, i thought it having a 800mhz fsb would allow 800 mem
-
actually halogod, the 800mhz, may be downclocked to 667mhs, but it will improve the cos latency to about 4. This isnt a major improvement at all, but its something
-
yea but this ram is 667, but already cl4

so no point in getting pc 6400 i guess then right -
is the above statement correct? im gonna order the ram now
-
i guess so then. go for the 667 from newegg.
Might be getting the m15x soon
