ok first off good thing you remembered the keyboard well well worth the $50. Yes you can get a discount once you receive your order just call them and tell them you want to order it thats it you don't have to ask for any kind of special price.

    EDIT: congrats on your order!

Nice system! For notebook RAM, I'd recommend Corsair or Crucial.

how did you manage that? let me guess, you were not happy with the system and asked to gwet a refund. To shut you up, AW gave you the extreme cpu yes?

Which Alienware rep did you have to give a bj to to get that free? J/K

Seriously, though, how'd you get a X900 upgrade for free?

Actually no what happened was my system went in for repairs because my fx weren't coming on when on battery so I asked them how much it would cost to upgrade my cpu to the 9300 they told me it wouldn't cost me anything because they had just got the cpus and that was the closest to mine I would just have to pay a deposit so I went for it. Got my machine back open it up look and the bios and it was the X9000! they some how messed up and put in the wrong cpu and in myhive it also says I have the t9300 but hey whos complaining!!! Not me so thats how I did it i don't think they even know I have it in my system. O yeah and they did put the credit back to my card when they received the old chip back in Miami so now I have a system that cost me about 2640 including SB battery is now worth about $3100

PS X9000 is freakin sweet! O yeah and I also got an upgrade to a lightscribe drive cause mine orignal dvd drive wasn't burning @ 8x but my new one does.

The x9000 can't overclock well in the m15x at all. You made the right choice. BTW, you can still change your order before it goes into production, you'll just have to start the phases over.

The mobo in the m15x will downclock it to 667MHz since that's the highest it'll support, you're just wasting money getting faster RAM. 667MHz RAM will be supported much better by the m15x.

actually halogod, the 800mhz, may be downclocked to 667mhs, but it will improve the cos latency to about 4. This isnt a major improvement at all, but its something
