    Try excluding it from DEP?

Nope, still not working! So $50.00 down the drain! I'll call EA or look for more tip on google!

    good suggestion.

I've seen more than a few problems with games not working due to DEP. if you're not sure what that is, there's always wikipedia.

but, basically the system will shutdown any application that seems to be working incorrectly or doing malicious things. the last time I saw this, a friend was running Windows Server 2008, x64, and trying to play... I think it was CS 1.6 (the really old version)... disabling DEP worked, and the system played the game fine.

I've also had instances with HL2 where it'll try to cutoff the program, but I close the dialog (without telling it to shutdown the app... I just hit the X), and HL2 goes on to live a long and happy runtime. plays fine. and that's under Vista Business x64 SP2(rc)

try some things out. the EA logo is probably supposed to be up for a while, while loading, so it'll look like it's hanging, but it might not be. esp. if there's still disk activity.

you can also disable DEP for the process through task manager, or you can disable it from bootup using something like msconfig.

    good luck.

Okay, here's where I'm at now.... I have Vista 32bit, Under DEP I choose Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

Then I use Add colum and can't find an .exe for this game search the entire drive and there's none? Well, thanks a lot guys! I'll call EA tomorrow!

Okay! I finally figured this out! EA didn't email me back yet but after hours of google. This is what I found! This might help new Mirrors Edge players!

Search your drive for = tdengine.ini

Once opened scroll down to the bottom where the tabs are (SystemSetting)
    Look for MaxMultisamples=?
There should be a # there but anyways just change it to 1
Save then start the game! Have fun and run run run!!!!!!!!

By the way her Name is Faith and she's got a hot voice! LOL :)
    Sound tracks awesome!
