Anyone know any reballing services that will do MXM 3.0 cards, or are partners/affiliate with nVida/AMD in north America, and do replacement gpu's and such.
Just thought to ask. I know so many of us have had broken gpu's nd such over the years, and its a pain in the to always get RMA's going, but, what to do when your warranty expires?
Its technically cheaper to reball from someone in the UK then it is to pay the extended warranty and the per-case repair etc..

I think you'd want to look at authorized service/repair centers for major manufacturers that also do retail work.
Unfortunately I don't know any myself. -

Whilst there are plenty of reballing services on Fleabay - some in the UK and some in the US - they don't specifically state that they do MXM gpu's, but here's a US based service that 'might' if you ask:
Motherboard GPU REBALL Repair Service / Laptop / Desktop / All Brands | eBay - in the description, he states that he reworks desktop GPU's, so he might do MXM cards, too....maybe worth asking.
If he doesn't, there's a few UK services at around the same price, but again, you'd have to ask about MXM reballing.
Just search for "Reballing Services" on the Bay of E  -

Wow the meaker paint diagrams are really getting a work out recently:
Be aware if the solder is the faulty one marked there then the core will need to be replaced rather than just the solder between the package and PCB.
