    I just picked up a Alienware M5700I-R2, and got everything loaded up and running, just wondered if anyone knew which motherboard was used in this model? I have the core2duo 2.16 Ghz Processor, and the ATI X1800 256 MB card, 1 gig of ram, and 2 7200 RPM Drives running raid0 Stripe....just wanna see if alienware has any updated bios or drivers available, any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Appreciate the info....but I wasn't given the login info for the hive....so out of luck there...and CPU-z says alienware is the manufacturer but it's not helping me b/c according to the alienware site it only goes up to the 5300 for the motherboard drivers....kinda sucks b//c I have all the discs including the respawn start CD but don't have the actual original ISO Image...but there are 4 discs I do have....meh

    It should be the chipset that we want to look at. In this case, the chipset drivers are there in the first link.

    No...I have all the drivers....main thing I am looking for is a bios update....my current bios date is from 2006
