Hi NBR. I'm now on my Alienware laptop and Windows 7 for the first time and some programs make the mouse pointer huge on the screen. Is there a fix for this?

Update your video drivers, and the problem will disappear.

It happened both before and after. Normally, the mouse arrow on the screen is small, but when I use some programs, the arrow becomes larger.

I had the same problem! Do you have an ati 5730 by any chance? In any event do a search for catalyst 10.6 for m15x and use that driver.

thats probably due to the fact that ur program is using lower resolution. On high resolution, pointer is relatively smaller

Speak to dell they were going to offer me a replacement if the drivers didn't work. Fortunatly they did for me but if their not working for you get it replaced.

Do you get screen lockups as well with the desktop refreshing about 3 fps?

^ No problems like you mentioned. It's just the mouse pointer.
