I'm having a little bit of an issue...

I've got Windows 7 x64 Ultimate installed. Most recent updates, most recent drivers.

    Here is the issue:

I connect my laptop to my TV via HDMI to watch video files (avi, mkv).

I go into Nvidia Control Panel, change the settings so that both displays are used. The LCD is 1 (1920x1200) and the TV 2. (1920x1080). I don't extend the desktop, I leave them both independent. I save the profile in the control panel.

Since Nvidia does not have the Nview for Vista or Windows 7, I use UltraMon to assign Hot Keys to change the different display settings I have (LCD and LCD + TV). I assign a HotKey to enable the dual monitor setup. I don't leave the TV plugged into my latop all the time.

The next time I plug the TV back in, the settings are all whacked. All the setting I made are gone. And even if I use Ultramon the settings don't get restored.

I read about the Windows TMM and disabled that.

Also, the audio does not switch from the laptop to the tv automatically, I have to do it manually. And when I unplug the HDMI, I have to switch the audio again from HDMI to the laptop. I updated the IDT drives which said that it fixed that issue, but apparently it has not...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Akash
