    Alienware got my order last Wednesday, went into production on Friday. And today it was shipped. Should get it this Wednesday Via DHL

    I ordered my M17 on a Sat. through the AAFES site and Alienware got the order from them on the following Mon.

    From the day I ordered it till it was in my anxious hands, only 10 days had passed!

    You're getting your rig even faster. Congrats bluenose.

    Way to go Alienware! :D

    stage 5 to 9 only taken half day to finish on my M17.

    I got my E6400 in one week (ordered on a Monday, got it next Monday). That was two days before the estimated delivery date.

    Maybe there are few different, prebuilt specs; all they need to do, is small changes.

    On a side note, what spec did you decide to go with? I guess you took 1440x900 screen over WUXGA option?

    Dell is fast it seems...my lappy was deliverd within a week too, despite the ESD being 1 1/2 month later!! :D

    You would never believe how fast my order went almost straight to stage 9...I never saw it at a stage prior to stage 9.
    I was held up by the international credit card checks but as soon as I sent my photocopy of my credit card within 24 hours it had been shipped and came in around 2 or 3 days.

    This is why I held the mistaken belief that somehow some of these systems were pre-built or something...it was just so fast and I didnt know of anyone else with an Alienware or have access to a good forum like this.

    Well done Alienware, keep up the good work.

    I ordered my AW from Athlone in Ireland...I wonder if all their despatches are fast. Where have you ordered yours from bluenose?

    oh and amj1627; I found that its the company that ships the hardware(mine was DHL)who give you a tracking number not the actual manufacturer like Dell or Alienware...could be different elsewhere!

    God youve just gave me reminders of that buzz I got when that tracking number arrived from DHL....I hope I win the lottery this weekend.

    I would go on the shippers site and type in your order number under "tracking" and you should find it.

    its usually that simple.

    Congrats, very nice. I wish I could say the same about mine. Ordered last Monday. Thursday it hit Phase 6 on the order status, and has been there since. Haven't received an e-mail if anything is missing or any reason for a delay. I'm hoping mine just went under the radar and it will ship on the estimated date, which is tomorrow. bah.

    Either way though, thats some fast shipping for you blue. Very fast.
