I have had this laptop for a little over a month, and just recently it will shut down randomly, then turn back on. Once this starts, it'll shut off again before i can even log in and will repeat this process until i unplug the laptop.

This only seems to happen when the laptop is charging, is there anything i can do to fix it?

F8 after BIOS post and choose safe mode.

mmm, i just plugged my laptop back in and it is not shutting down. But, i did change the power plan from high-performace to balanced. Would this have anything to do with it?

It's hard to guess when you don't even provide the system specs.
There could be many causes to this behavior.
You could try a power drain first.
Then you could update/re-flash the BIOS.
