You must be a happy men!
Have fun in your after Vegas life.
And do indulge us with more information about your new toy.
Hope you will only have fun with it. -
congrats, yours seems like mine with few problems. be careful with the keyboard, keys breaking seems to be the main issue right now.
-
Sounds good, Jeep. Hope you had fun in Vegas (happy birthday!)
Let us know how the m15x performs, now that you have it. -
if u have a problem with a touch pad you can add the touch pad sticker that is included in your binder (there are 2 different ones)
-
Way to go man! Now set the poker chips down and upload those pics!
-
Bit of a sidebar but did you see love at the Mirage? Amazing show.

Very nice!
In the binder thing they give you, there should be a sticker for the touchpad with a granular surface. Try it. -
Great stuff.. Grats on the Alien yet again !!
Looking forward to the 'Further review/inspection' with baited breath.. Hehe
Ps. Pics of the Skullcap please !! *I can never get enough*

arghh i cant decide
-
Hehe.. Then I wish YOU all the best too, zfactor
Probably would be ironic that you being the one who informed us of the Kensington lock mod won't have an m15x to use it with -
ok here we go,
I have been using the computer since my trip from vegas, I have only tested mostly the physical things I have seen complaints about on here. I have not logged in since I started this thread so I am trying to post only the most "popular" issues.
I have been abusing the keyboard, well not abusing but pushing hard on the zones where "flex" has been reported. I am sorry to say, I just do not see or feel this flex? I compared it to my IBM T42 and it is just as stiff.
I have been pushing every square inch of the key area and screen area for "clicking" or "popping, I am sorry to say, I have none of this?
I have went into sleep mode and comeback and all of the touch buttons on the top have worked with no restart.
I do not have wobble that is considered "bad" and I compared it to my IBM and both of my kids have a new Dell Inspiron 1520 and they all have a nice tight movement with the screen.
The speakers, ummmm they do sound "tinny" is the best way I can describe it. I am working on a fix for this if your interested, but you need to be able to solder.
I did not know I had a sticker for the touchpad so I will look I was just seeing if it was just my touch and trying to get used to the new touchpad. I will try the sticker and let everyone know. I adjusted the speed and it works better, I just get some little "double arrow" icon show up and it pisses me off.
The camera under dark light has a bad view, under good lighting it works quite well.
More to come later, off to Navy Peir for fireworks!!!!!!!! -
I am glad you have a good M15X. I guess the Worldwide m15x Forum Survey starting to show True facts.

Hey there JK.. Great to hear your Alien is looking and doing good
Was just wondering what happened to you & your review, but I understand you were testing it solid before you made a review.. Thanks !!
And yea, a lot of users had said the traction you get with putting the sticker on the touchpad makes it much easier to use.. Just wondering, any keyboard lag/unresponsiveness ?
Oh and how about the gaming.. Done any ?
