Well (for those who missed it) I have been having trouble with the SLI on my machine. When ever I ran SLI there would be blue halos flickering all over the screen. After 3 video card swaps and a new SLI cable the problem is fixed. Through trial and error it was the SLI cable that was causing all the problem. Keep this thread in mind if you start to see the same problem on your SLI rig.

Unless it wasn't seated properly or was picking up some incredibly strong EM noise, how could the cable cause this issue? I am glad to hear you are up and running, but this has me baffled as an EE student who generally knows how this stuff works (not claiming to design computer chips or anything).

Sometimes the wires don't make a good connection with the connector itself internally.

That would indicate poor manufacturing quality, which I don't think anyone wants to think about. For the most part though, Flextronics/Arima have been very impressive with their build quality, at least to me, coming to a W840Di from an HP lol

Wouldn't it be a nVidia part? But I tend to agree that it would be odd for the cable to be bad on multiple units.

The bridge cables are specific to the chassis they go into and are designed by the chassis designer I believe. Since there is no standardized layout like there is for a desktop.

I know that my CF bridge cable is made by Flextronics
