    No warranty, no deal.

plus, the guy has less than 20 feedback, I would need more of a track record.

plus, no actual pics, and the fact that he hasnt sold anything in 6 months could be a signal that his account may be hijacked.

plus, for a large purchase, I prefer face-to-face, or retail.

I actually bought my ,1730 on craigslist and had him transfer the warranty to me on the spot. a year later, I'm getting my dream laptop, the m17x.

the manufacturers warranty does not equal the extended hardware warranty which is worth every single penny.

It doesnt even have the good lcd.

I would not buy it. Buy directly from dell. don ttake the risk of getting scammed on someones hacked account.

I would not recommend buying expensive notebook computers from ebay. If happens, you'd have to deal with paypal and they're a to deal with.

There are absolutely no pictures, nothing there whatsoever proving the condition of the notebook or that he even has one.

This has danger written all over it. PayPal cannot protect you always, and quite frankly they are a pain to deal with.

I smell scam on this one. Hasn't used his ebay account since February, and if you look at the feedback, its all from sellers, not buyers...

Though its PayPal, just make sure you are protected incase this guy scams...

Still... if he sent you a defective system ( in one way or the other ) you'd have to deal with him and stuff... most of the time the sellers will ignore you or wont let you return it... then you'd have to deal with paypal... and that will take a while to sort things out...

Like I said, I don't recommend buying expensive things through ebay/paypal but it's really up to you.

The system is overpriced and that's one reason no one has bid.

I'll ask him to post real pics. Se what he says.

    Here's the response:

"The item will be drop shipped directly from my supplier. But if I don't sell it like this I will have it shipped to me take some pictures and list it again in a week or so. On international orders it comes to me first and then I ship it."

    I would not trust it.

Don't do it!!! If you buy it, it was cause massive global chaos...plague, death, nuclear holocaust!!!

But seriously, If a seller with 18 feedback hits has a 'supplier', it's fake. Because, if he was reselling through a supplier, he would have more than 1 available for sale. Plus, he's asking for almost the retail cost of the machine new from Dell. I understand that pics would be hard to come by if it's sealed new in box, but I still wouldn't buy it. There's no other detail information on the machine... a power seller/reseller would give alot of extra stuff about the machine than just a spec list.

I feel for you if it's not available in your country, but the ad looks fishy.
