    My M15X configure:
    Intel T8100
Corsair Memory 4GB (2X2GB KIT) 667MHz SODIMM CL4 UNBUFFERED (only got 5.0 in vista test, confused)
Western Digital 320GB Scorpio Black 7200RPM SATA 16MB
    8800mGTX
    vista home premier 32bit

    3d mark 06 test
The CPU TEST score around 2000
The graphic card around 2500
The total score never reached 5000+

Need I change cpu (bottle neck?)
I only found engineer sample edition cpu (x9000 or t9500) on ebay... How can i do next... your comments are very important for me. thanks

the WEI RAM score is okay, everyone gets 5.0 with DDR2 667mhz RAM.

as for the 3dmark score, update your graphics driver. also, make sure you're on your performance power setting, and disable stealth mode.

Are you on high performance mode in your power options?

I would suggest downloading ntune or gpu-z to see what your graphic card's speeds are set to. Then we can go from there to find out what's wrong.

This is a brand new notebook, so there must be a hardware issue.

It's time to send it back.

Not exactly. I have 4GB 667Mhz CL4 too like the OP, and WEI RAM score is 5.9

I think you should send notebook back. Certainly there's something wrong.

When I run 3dmark 06 with SLI disabled, I always get around 10K. I've tried loads of drivers, it varies by around a maximum of 500 marks only.

Basically you're running on half an 8800GTX...
Are you sure your card isn't underclocked?

Download and run Rivatuner and check the clocks of your card.
Also, make sure you are on AC power. Many cards naturally downclock on battery.

shouldn't you get two separate values for the GPU?

i'm asking because your score still seems a bit low, even with the T8100.

T8100 is pretty weak tough. I think he should still be able to get something like 8.5K

Please download Gpu-z, then post a screenshot of what it shows.

Oh and for an example of what you 3dmark06 GPU scores should be around:

    OCing? hell no...

v180.43 drivers, specs in sig. Zalman notebook cooler, and i turned off as much stuff as possible (Wifi, AV, messenger, AlienFX, etc) to get a good score. mind you, i used to hit +10k when i got the lappy. i might defragment the HDD sometime and compare the scores before/after.

OP - you need to download GPUz and CPUz and fin out what clocks your GPU and CPU are running at. Do you have a lot of processes and background progs running when you test?

I used to get around 10,100 when I first got my m15X - now, using, 185.20s, I get around 9300. I guess my machine has just become a bit bloated with all my software? I always make sure I turn off everything I don't need in the background and I clean out the registry and old files and defrag regulary though.
