    My m15x has arrived!

    Well, I got it in the mail today. I'm typing on it as we speak. No lid creak, but it still has the wobble. No scratches or anything. I've had no problems with it as of yet, so we'll see. Let's just say that I'm very happy with the purchase. If it holds up, I'll be coming back to alienware for my next purchase. :)

    Haha, no kidding. It took just over 48 hours to ship it. :) The only thing I'm not liking so far is that the keyboard is not as sensitive as I'd like, but other than that and some vista bugs, it's great! :)

    Don't worry about the keyboard. They're working on a patch. I have a feeling they're going to incorporate a whole new BIOS to address the latency that the recent X34 BIOS brings, the audio popping, and the keyboard lag that many m15x users are experiencing.

    That is good news about the patch. :) The only thing I've played on it is America's army, but I maxed out the settings and no problems, but it's not horribly graphics intensive. :) I have a nzxt cooler on the way, but for now, I'm using a soft camera case to prop the back up to allow for better cooling.

    BTW, ryujin, I didn't even know that you ordered. Congrats! I'm still waiting for the MBP upgrades, Voodoo to announce their 15" and the end of Breed until I order a laptop. Post a review when you get it :D.

    thx michael....will do for sure as i have the zalman2k cooler from what i saw posted and i opted for the SSD, which i got a few programs from another poster to get stats from it....
    so it will be a busy first few days... :D

    ps: i did not announce the order as i figured i would let them know during the SSD testing....but ya put me in the limelight.... :D

    i was wanting to wait for the voodoo as well, but those systems are far more $$ then even an AW is...like the hell out of em, but man.... :)

    psx2: i ordred now as i am on leave...i used to be in the military and now work for them... :). i needed a lappy for fun and stuff and this was the best time...i did wait till the very end though - taking into account possible delays and more storms.... :)
