I know this is the behaviour of a 6 year old three days before Xmas Eve, but......

    I hit Phase 5 yesterday! :D

    Woot.

I am even happier now that I have seen that the m17x comes with twin 8700s - as does my m9750 - or twin 8800s for an additional $900!!!

I think they have missed a trick by not providing a single 8800 config, but what do I know, I am just the end consumer! ;)

    Woot.....

Phase 5 to Phase 9 over a Bank Holiday Weekend! AW appears to have removed it's finger from it's "proverbial"!

I am a DHL visit away from gaming heaven!

    :D

what makes you happy about the m17x being offered with 8700's if what you are buying is the m9750?

I think Clean is trying to make a comparison between the two based on the 8700 cards.

Congrats on your machine. I still love my m9750. Alienware had a really good thing going with the Arima chassis in the m9700 and m9750 and it's a shame IMHO that they could not continue with that brand with the m17x.
