Looks good, honestly though what ever configuration you have is up to you, your the one spending the money on it :p. As long as your happy with the system you built and it is suited to what you wanna do you should go for it! Good luck on getting the money, I'm on the same boat lol I've configured my perfect M17x over 50 times but no money = no M17x :'(

If I were you I would change the 900p screen to the 1080p screen.
    Keep the ram the same.

I would keep the processor as the 1066 isn't quite as great for some higher end games, but you could do to lose the ram, it's kind of unnecessary and could save a few bucks, then if in the future you happen to need an extra boost (highly unlikely...) you could buy some more.

Oh and you might want a longer warranty because I have been having bad hardware failures and it's a lot of money to throw away if things go wrong. You'll want this computer to be good for a long time.

Ok, I might go 6GB of RAM and 3 year basic warranty. That sound good to you guys? I'm just hoping that I get the summer job I applied for.

Not sure on the warranty. The advanced is good because it covers accidental damage. If you spilled a soda or dropped the laptop then it would be covered under the warranty. Also by the time you earn the money, priorities might change or new technology will come out. Girls are not cheap ;) I vote for finding a sugar mama!

Go 4GB. DEFINETELY 4GB. You will see NO benefit from any more than 4GB unless you multitask a LOT, or run RAM intensive software like CAD (basically, not games). It's a waste of money right now for nearly everyone.

Either stay the base i7 720M or go all the way to the 920XM. In my opinion (and most of this forum), the 820M is not worth it for the price increase.

Lol, it's funny you should say that, because I'm in an engineering class and we use CAD software alot.

They gave me a TactX headset for free....its a piece of CRAP. Compared to my sennheiser PC 350s, its like a ferrari vs a pinto. Don't waste your money.
