Hello! I hate my first post to be a negative one .. but it is ..

Here is the shortened version of what I've gone through with Alienware:

Over the past 4 months I have logged 30+ hours on the phone with Alienware. I have been lied to, ignored and otherwise mistreated Alienware's support as well as support managers. I have sent in my computer twice for repairs, and both times Alienware has sent it back broken, or further damaged. When inquiring about specific parts of my warranty I have been bullied by support. Alienware technical support has even attempted to coerce me into performing my own repairs on the computer, an act which would void my warranty and release Alienware of any responsibility over damaged hardware.

Due to Alienware's continued failure to honor my warranty agreement with them (as well as issues listed above), I have requested a refund. I was denied this refund by Mr. Erick Cheng. He notified me that Alienware had not lost enough money to warrant a refund of my computer and that regardless of what my warranty states, my only course of action is to send the computer in repeatedly until ALIENWARE is satisfied with the services rendered.

The longer more detailed version can be found on my blog at:

If you are a digg user, I'd appreciate the ++.

(I hope this doesn't get labeled as spam ... I know its my first post ... but honestly I didn't learn about this place until I did a google search this morning looking for similar stories to my own)

I don't classify this as spam, it's simply we have a lot of threads regarding negative Alienware experiences.

Sorry to hear about your problems.

I would recommend reporting them to the better business bureau. I think it's www.bbb.org

I reported my issue as well recently. There are so many people unhappy with alienware but not enough complaints on the BBB. Everyone needs to report this company..
