Okay so all the research I've done says the account number is located in the black book I got. However it is not. What do I do? I can't make my Hive account with out it. So am I screwed? I recently recieved my alienware last week.

umm my hive is for the pre dell model.

with dell you just use the service tag underneath your laptop.

my hive was just like the link i gave you, but it was pre dell, when alienware was on its own. just have drivers and software.

now its just a regular dell support page, and you don't need any number to get to it.

use use that link i gave you, and make sure to download the win 7 versions of the driver.

Yeah, my hive still works from when I had an Alienware M-ALX 19" monster, but all that is pure legacy. Trust us, you'll like the way things are now. ;)

    Recapping for new visitors...

MyHive ( Alienware: Client Services Support Area Cutomer Login) is for pre-dell Alienware systems ONLY. In other words, Legacy systems such as the original m15, m17, area-51, aurora, etc. This will not work with Dell/Alienware systems. It is only for legacy systems and does not contain anything new for us.

Support/Drivers/Downloads for the Dell/Alienware 'All Powerful' systems (M11xR1/R2, M15x, M17xR1/R2) are available via the Dell Support site.

Direct links to all driver pages for the Dell/Alienware models can be found here:
